SUBMIT | Riveting Rants

SUBMISSION POLICY

We accept rolling submissions throughout the year in the form of poetry and prose.
We aim to publish 1-3 pieces per week and have monthly editions.
You may submit a maximum of three poems, each not exceeding a page in length (Times New Roman - font size 12)
You may submit two pieces of flash fiction or short prose pieces (1000 words max.) or one longer prose piece (1500 words max.)
In the subject of your email, please include the category of your submission followed by your name. For example, "POETRY SUBMISSION - William Wordsworth".
We accept our submissions in a .doc /.docx format or through a Google document.
Please include relevant content warnings for your pieces and take into account that the website is run by minors (No NSFW submissions).
Riveting Rants has a zero tolerance policy for bigotry, including, but not limited to, homophobia, racism and sexism.
Please include a brief third-person biography (50-70 words) about yourself in the mail that you send us.
By submitting to us, you give us the right to publish your work. You will retain all creative rights over your work.
Riveting Rants has zero tolerance for plagiarism. We expect that your submissions are completely original. By submitting to us, you acknowledge that your work is entirely original and give us the right to scrutinise it for any instances of plagiarism.

Riveting Rants reserves the right to reject a submission it receives. Rejection could be on the grounds of – inter alia – a submission’s failure to meet the desired quality standards, inclusion of inappropriate content, and/or instances of plagiarism.
Riveting Rants reserves the right to, at any point of time, take down a published piece that ceases to comply with its policies. A decision to remove a published piece on such grounds is not subject to appeal.
Riveting Rants reserves the right to scrutinise submissions for instances of plagiarism.
The Editorial Board may make minor changes to the submissions in cases of spelling, grammatical, or factual errors.
In case your work has been published without credit, in whole or in part, you are requested to revert to us at the earliest. Any instance of plagiarism must be duly reported at rivetingrants@gmail.com. Riveting Rants reserves the right to take appropriate action after due investigation.
By submitting to us, you accept and acknowledge all the aforementioned terms and conditions and confirm that any information you give us is accurate to the best of your knowledge.
In the light of the occurrence of an untoward event with respect to your work, information and consequences regarding which may be beyond our reach and control, you may not hold Riveting Rants culpable.
