We don’t fall,

we learn and grow:

there is beauty

in mistakes we make

and light in sadness.

We build a wall

around our glow,

and sleep to break

the cruelty

of madness.

only for a while. That’s all

the sun stays low,

to come awake

like fate with love, rises early

and finds us.
